Our Mission
Harmony in Horses, Inc. fosters hope, empowerment, and healing for youth navigating complex trauma stemming from experiences in foster care and adoption. Through our transformative Equine-Assisted Learning, community mentorship, caregiver support, and immersive nature activities, we cultivate environments where life-long healing and growth flourish.
Fun ~ Supportive ~ Safe
Horse PowHER harnesses the inherent wisdom of the horse-human bond to create a safe and supportive environment where girls can explore, learn, and grow. EAL comprises a series of ground-based activities – no horseback riding is involved – that involves working with horses to learn transferable life skills such as self-esteem, empathy, emotional regulation, relationship building, teamwork, communication, and leadership.
